It is the mission of the Division of Fire Safety, Office of the State Fire Marshal, to prevent deaths, injury, and property loss due to fires throughout the State; to promote the establishment of a fire-safe environment for the citizens of New Hampshire; and to ensure the safe, efficient coordination of hazardous materials emergency responses.
